With this privacy and personal data protection policy, QUAL - INDÚSTRIA METALICA LDA. limited liability company, registered at the Commercial Registry Office under registration number 502.001.933, with share capital of €164,604.00 (one hundred and sixty-four thousand, six hundred and four euros), and head office at Rua da Cerciag, 645 Raso de Salgueiró, Zona Industrial EN 1 Norte, 3750-753, Águeda, hereinafter referred to as “QUAL”, aims to inform Customers/Users of QUAL's policies and procedures with regard to the collection, use, treatment and disclosure of any personal data transmitted directly by its Customers/Users or through third parties, through the use of the website operated by QUAL – www.qual.pt.

QUAL respects the privacy of its Customers/Users, and is committed to protecting the information it collects from them, as well as complying with the legal rules in force defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Accessing and using the website, as well as subscribing to the services and products it makes available, imply the agreement, acceptance and binding of users to this privacy and data protection policy.

QUAL is a commercial company that operates in the civil locksmith industry and similar sectors, metallic structures, manufacturing, marketing, installation and maintenance of doors and glazing. QUAL is committed to protecting the personal data of Customers/Users of the products and services it offers, as well as the personal data of the respective holders in all situations in which personal data is collected and processed.

 

Need for this policy

Through this policy, it is intended to inform Customers/Users of the general rules for the processing of personal data, which are collected and processed in strict respect and compliance with the provisions of the legislation on the protection of personal data in force at any time, namely Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016 ("GDPR"), as well as other legislation on this subject that is applicable or enters into force, in particular Law no. 2019, from the 8th of August.

This Privacy and Data Protection Policy also intends to complete the provisions, in terms of protection and processing of personal data, provided for in the contracts that Customers/Users have established or will establish with QUAL, as well as the rules provided for in the terms and conditions that regulate the offer of the various services and that are duly publicized on our website.

QUAL has always been concerned with ensuring the protection and security of the personal data made available to it. For this purpose, QUAL has implemented an internal security policy and compliance with these rules is an obligation for all those who legally access them, namely its employees. However, this action by QUAL does not dispense with the adoption of security measures by Customers/Users, especially with regard to the use of online personal defense systems (firewall, antivirus, anti-spyware, instruments for verifying the suitability of websites , etc.).

The information collected may be greater or lesser depending on the information provided by the Customer/User.

With the exception of the obligation arising from compliance with a legal obligation, all data will be exclusively processed by QUAL only to the extent that they prove necessary for the development of its activity, also allowing the Customer/User to have access, for example, to specific functionalities of the services, suggestions and local information services.

Personal, traffic, geographic location, profile and/or consumption data may be processed for advertising purposes or disclosure of offers of goods or services by QUAL, if the respective holder of the personal data has authorized/consented to do so.

If there is prior consent from the Customer/User, this may be withdrawn at any time, without, however, the lawfulness of the treatment carried out based on prior consent being called into question. For the withdrawal of consent, you can use the email address: xxxx.

 

Circumstances of Processing by Subcontractors

Within the scope of the activities carried out, QUAL uses third parties to provide certain types of services that may imply access, by these entities, to the personal data of Customers/Users. When this happens, QUAL ensures that subcontractors comply with GDPR rules and other applicable legislation, as well as compliance with certain rules that are similar to our internal security policy. In the case of communication of personal data to other subcontracted entities, QUAL remains responsible for such personal data.
